Hillcrest Camera Club - Food Photography Workshop - Sat 25 Aug 2018

Posted by Hillcrest Camera Club on Monday, August 27, 2018 Under: Workshops

Hi everyone

Please join us for an opportunity to shoot food photography. There will be prepared scenes of food on plates and various other kinds of food scenes to shoot

We are holding the workshop at Meryl's School of Cooking in Kloof , and Meryl is preparing some of the food for us. Meryl will also be doing some 'live' food preparation, which we can shoot.

Space is limited, so we are not allowing tripods. You will have to use ISO to get a fast shutter speed. However, it is going to be a sunny day, and there is lots of natural light and windows, so we should be OK to shoot hand held.

Most of the shots will be close up, so bring lenses that will allow for that. Look at the photos for examples of what we will be shooting.

When: Sat 25th August 2018
Time: 10am to 1pm
Where: Meryl's School of Cooking

What to bring: Cameras, lenses. NO TRIPODS.

We need to know numbers, so please RSVP ahead of time.
