Hi everyone

We had an awesome turnout at Saturday evening's night shoot. Thank you to all who attended!

There are two more opportunities to improve your photography skills coming up this weekend, on Saturday, and on Monday, the eve of the public holiday. We hope to see you there! 

1.  Judging Workshop : Sat 18 March 2017

You will be taught how to critically analyse a photo, and how to identify  elements which make an outstanding image. The workshop will be interactive, and you will be given the opportunity to participate fully. 

Open to all members, on the proviso that you will be willing to judge photos for future HCC Photo Sharing meetings.

When: Sat 18 March 
Time: 10am - 12pm
Where: Hillcrest Sports Club


  • Notes provided
  • Bring notepads, pens etc. to take your own additional notes.
  • No laptops required.
  • We will provide tea and coffee, please bring a packet of biscuits to share.

2. Shooting At Night - 2nd evening

We have had interest in a 2nd night out of shooting in the dark.We will be shooting on the eve of the public holiday, Monday 20th March 2017. We will be shooting at the Point, in and around the apartment buildings and the waterfront canals. We anticipate the area to be active, due to the public holiday on Tuesday. 

This will be a learning shoot. All members are welcome. 

Meet at the corner of Browns Road and Timeball Boulevard.
Park in Browns Road, or Timeball Boulevard, or at the nearby pay carpark.
