Hillcrest Camera Club - Outing Postponed to 21 Oct 2017

Posted by Hillcrest Camera Club on Sunday, October 15, 2017 Under: Outings

Hi everyone

 1. Outing – “Bug Exploration” – POSTPONED

The outing this month has been POSTPONED to 21 October.

Due to the long weekend, and many club members being away, and also due to the bad weather expected on Saturday, it was decided at the Tuesday meeting to postpone the outing to Springside Nature Reserve.

We will hold the outing next month, 21 October.

According to Marlies, there will be a better chance of seeing insects if we wait a few weeks.

Join us for an exploration for insects and plants of Springside Nature Reserve. Try your hand at macro photography, or if you don’t have a macro lens, you can do close up photography.

We will have Marlies Craig as our “Bug Explorer” guide. She will be showing us what to look for, and where to find the insects. She will also provide tips on how to shoot the bugs.

New Details
When: Sat 21st Oct 2017
Time: 10am – 1230 / 1pm

2. Other Photography Opportunities

If you still wish to go out and take photos on the weekend, the Baynesfield Estate is having a Heritage Day Historic Festival. There should be ample photo opportunities.
