Camera Club - SPECIAL WORKSHOP - Tuesday 1 October 2013
We have a jammed packed October, full of workshops, walks and exhibitions!
1. Sparks and Flames Workshop
There is a special workshop this month, instead of the usual speaker meeting.
Chas Venter and Ben Myburgh from Westville Camera Club are going to be
showing us how to spin 'spark orbs', hence the 'Sparks'. We will also
be having a fire dancer performing for us, hence the 'Flames'.

are masters at spinning orbs, as witnessed a few months ago at the Orb and
Painting with Light workshop.
The safest place to shoot the spark orbs is on the beach. We will be shooting
at the Ushaka/Moyo beach, on Tuesday 1st October. Meet at 6.30pm to get set
up and ready to start shooting at 7pm.
The fire dancer will perform for us first, then we will move onto the spark

2. Wear appropriate clothing - preferable jeans, takkies, jackets and caps.
3. Be prepared to use the sand or sea water to put out any burning embers of
