3. Outing - Lake Kenmo

Lake Kenmo is surrounded by deciduous trees that show amazing coours in autumn.
The idea is to capture these colours and their reflections in the lake. If you are early enough you can capture the sunrise.

Drive to Underberg.
Take the Himeville turnoff and drive through Himeville and continue until you come to a cross road. Continue straight on for +/_ 3km (The tar ends at some point)Take the turnoff to Lake Kenmo on the left hand side  and drive through an avenue of oak trees until you see a boom ahead and the lake on the left hand side. Take the second entrance to Lake Kenmo. Drive along the Lake which will be on your left hand side and past the chestnut trees until you see an open grass land in front of you. Park on the grass. There are toilets a bit higher up.

Co-ordinates:   29 41 40.65        29 33 03.71

The suggestion is a picnic at Lake Kenmo. Bring your own food, coffee/tea, chairs, blankets etc.
